Ihram


Allah says (meaning of the verse): "  O Believers! Do not kill any game while you are in Ihram state  "(Quran: 6/95)
7 / Engage in the preliminaries of sexual intercourse, such as kissing and whatever leads to the carnal act.
Allah says (meaning of the verse): "  The pilgrimage takes place in known months. If one decides to accomplish it, then there is no sexual intercourse, no perversity, no dispute during the pilgrimage   (Quran: 2/197).
In his collection of Hadiths, Al-Mouatta , Imam Malek reports that 'Omar Ibn Al-Khattab, Ali ibn Abu Taleb and Abu Houreira, may Allah be pleased with them, questioned about a pilgrim who had a relationship with his wife, all responded that the man and the woman must continue their pilgrimage to the end, offer two sacrifices and again later a compensation pilgrimage
 As to marrying, asking for it, or committing any other sin, such as slander, calumny, or licentiousness, no atonement shall be made concerning them except repentance and a request for forgiveness.

Habits of the Ihram

The Prophet  (S.A.W) said, " The pilgrim should not wear a garment, nor a turban, nor a pair of trousers, nor a pair of shoes, unless they are cut underneath the ankles." (Bukhari). Also fabrics coated with saffron or wirs (plant used as dye, yellow-reddish color). The woman must not veil her face, nor wear gloves, according to the hadith reported by Imam Al-Bukhari, The Talbiya: The pilgrim must pronounce the formula of the Talbiya at the time of the Ihram at the Miqat, before even surpassing it. Its formula is as follows: "Labbayk Allahumib labbayk! (Here I am, Lord, here I am, here I am!) The prohibitions of Ihram The acts forbidden to the one who are in Ihram state are those which, once committed, require expiatory reparation, such as the sacrifice of an animal, fasting or giving alms.
